Project Overview

During the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic, Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province set up a centralized epidemic isolation point to isolate and monitor close contacts and confirmed cases. The isolation point generates a large amount of medical wastewater every day, containing toxic and harmful substances such as viruses and bacteria. If not effectively treated and discharged, it will seriously threaten the safety of surrounding water bodies and the environment. In order to prevent the spread of the epidemic and ensure environmental hygiene, the local health commission has urgently launched a wastewater treatment project at the isolation point, which urgently needs to ensure that the wastewater meets the discharge standards and avoid secondary pollution.

 

Construction content

The core task of this project is to centrally treat the wastewater generated by all isolated personnel and medical activities at the isolation point. The sewage treatment capacity is 150 tons/day, and the treated water quality must strictly comply with the requirements of the "Discharge Standards for Water Pollutants in Medical Institutions" GB18466-2005. Treatment facilities not only need to effectively remove pathogenic microorganisms and organic pollutants from wastewater, but also need to ensure long-term stable operation to cope with the continuous generation of high-risk wastewater at isolation points.

 

Undertake content

After receiving an urgent task from the Wuyuan County Health Commission, Linglan Environment quickly responded and immediately organized a production team to carry out equipment design and manufacturing. Design and manufacture an ISES Mega type sewage treatment equipment. In response to the urgent needs during the epidemic, our company completed the production task of all wastewater treatment equipment in just 7 days. After the equipment arrived at the site, the technical team completed installation and commissioning within 3 days, ensuring that the wastewater treatment system could be quickly put into use and stably discharged, guaranteeing the safe treatment of wastewater at the isolation point.

To further ensure the environmental safety around the isolation point, Linglan Environment has specially installed a set of spray+adsorption deodorization equipment to efficiently purify the waste gas generated during the wastewater treatment process. This deodorization system ensures the effective removal of harmful gases from exhaust gas through a dual approach of physical adsorption and chemical spraying, fully meeting the dual safety requirements of wastewater and exhaust gas treatment.

 

Project achievements

The successful implementation of this project greatly alleviated the impact of the isolation point of Wuyuan Fangcang Hospital on the surrounding environment. The wastewater treatment system operates stably, and all indicators of the treated wastewater meet the relevant national discharge standards, effectively preventing the risks of water pollution and virus spread. At the same time, the supporting exhaust gas treatment equipment ensures the surrounding air quality and further enhances the overall environmental safety level of the isolation point. The project has received high praise from the local government and health departments, setting an example for environmental safety management during the epidemic.
